i was concerned about the jacks, thinking maybe AJ or KJ could be good. i guess Soulless73 was concerned about the club flush draw. not a whole lot here i could have done, i guess. if you have comments, would love to hear them.

make the jump for how i rebounded for the day....

so after busting out in the 6th hand of the tourney, i still had roughly 4 hours before my wife would be home. although i was nursing a minor hangover coupled with a massive sinus headache (which 2 doses of DayQuil and 6 Advil had no effect on,) i was reluctant to go grab some sleep (even though i only got 3 hours the night before; i am not the wise partier, am i?) - i mean, half a day free from work and wife to poker it up! so checking the FTP upcoming tourney schedule, there was a satellite for $24+2 into FTP's new "Guarantee" prize pool series, this one being $35K. i liked the overlay here: top 5 spots get berths with only 46 opponents. what the heck, i'll sign-up.

tourney action was S L O W, so i multi-tabled playing the $1/$2 NLHE ring game at the same time. while i dropped $17.94 playing in the ring game, i fared much better in the tourney:

3:30PM today for my next chance at greatness!

in other news, picked up some books last night - yes, it is truly a sickness! current reading list now includes:
