i am practicing for the big 150 Seat Giveaway on Full Tilt, so i am playing all the lemming, pushfests i can. today while watching the Astros make an unbelievable comeback to sweep the Brew Crew, i played in the $2 + $.25 Double Stack. my god, if nothing else, i am certainly learning patience. and how to not get unlucky.

see anything funny in that pic? that is at the FIRST break! we lost more than HALF the field in a DOUBLE STACK tourney (with 10 minute levels) before the first break!!!! my god, worst excuse for poker evar!

believe it or not, i was able to make it all the way to 3rd without sucking out once and i actually avoided races until we were down to the final table. anyone who had played these knows the lemming-fest they are. you stand a better chance of winning the Powerball...ok, not really, but fsck it feels that way.

final hand i got it all in with wired sixes vs A-9d. ace on the flop and IGHN.

oh well...it was a good diversion while i updated the Wordpress software on CompendiumOfCool and SellTheAstros.
